Odious Odalisque

The photo of bathing beauty Steve above reminded me very much of the posture and poise portrayed in the work of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres' painting "Une Odalisque" (see below). I also find it fascinating to note the somewhat terrifying symmetry shown in the photo above when you notice Steve's pose mirrored by some other man in the upper right corner of the frame.
